PA GUILFORD — Guilford Supervisors voted on multiple property decisions and variances May 21. Chairman Don Clapper and Supervisors Greg Thomas and Mike Ferguson voted unanimously to support a privacy-screening variance for Barbara Sue Hershey of 738 Rising Sun Lane, who sought setback relief after apartment buildings across the street compromised her privacy. Supervisors also voted unanimously to deny resident Jeff McCauley's request for 9/11 Memorial Trail route signs in township road rights-of-way, citing driver distraction and existing roadway signage concerns.
The board unanimously granted New Enterprise a blasting waiver for Stone Quarry Road, allowing 165-foot setbacks instead of the required 300-foot minimum distance, contingent on New Enterprise's assumption of liability for property damage.
